This list of BOB's (Black owned Banks) is created to provide information on lending partners within the community that will be able to assist with your needs. Banks are for profit institutions owned by shareholders.
Credit Unions offer both svaing, checking and lending opportunities to members that would otherwise be denied access and service at a traditional bank. Credit unions are NON-Profit institutions owned by MEMBERS not instead of traditional share holders.
